6、-colony language environment, and to build original and up-to-date Chinese popular culture theory structure. This article is comprised of three parts. In the first part, it gives the definition of popular culture and poi

7、nts out the source of popular culture. Meanwhile it analyses the development of Chinese popular culture. With the borderline of the built-up of 90's market economic system, this article divides Chinese popular cultur

8、e into two periods and emphases the special characteristics of Chinese popular culture in different periods. In the second part, this article expounds Frankfurt school on Chinese popular culture on the aspects of the sou

9、rce of theory, foundation of philosophy, characteristic of theory. In Part Three, this article emphasis on three directions to study the influence logic of Frankfurt school. First of all, popular culture mainly discusses
