3、nerations after him in his family made great contributions to Tang Dynasty’ polity, and to the foundation and development of military affairs from he took along his followings to come over and pledge allegiance during th

4、e period of Zhenguan. Especially, the three generations of QiBi HeLi, QiBi Ming and QiBi Song made the great contributions in the aspect of exploiting the territory in the prophase of Tang Dynasty. General HeLan was subs

5、tituted by other persons since the fourth generation QiBi ChengMing stayed in Tengzhou a long time. But in the other branches of QiBi family, QiBi JiaBin, the grandson of QiBi Guang, kept on inheriting the family’s chara

6、cteristic of warrior, took responsibility for the safe of the territory of Tang Dynasty. After AnShi Rebellion, the fifth generation QiBi Yi took his followings to migrate HuiHe in the north. Then he took his son QiBi To

7、ng to submit ShengZhou around the area of ZhenWu in the sixth year of DaHe. QiBi Tong served as the military governor ZhenWu finally because of his contributions in digging up the hatchet to Turk and the contributions in

8、 frontier affairs, leading Daibei military affairs. After he passed away, his sons were all served in Daibei military camp. Then family QiBi migrated from HeXi to DaiBei, and most allied with other warrior families throu

9、gh marriage. This are the exterior causes in order to maintain the whole family’s survival and development. Why this family had the characteristic of up-and-down, the most important and the deepest issues were the varian
