5、t in fashion design, try to promote the development of Chinese costume enterprises.IntroductionThe concept of “Chinese element“ was proposed in 2007. The concept points out that: all the images, signs and national custom
6、s which condense the traditional cultural spirit, embody the dignity and interest of Chinese Nation, and was accepted by the majority of Chinese people (including Overseas Chinese) can be regarded as “Chinese element“[1]
7、.It not only includes traditional utensils, characters and marks, manual finally reach the ultimate of “Harmony of Human with Nature”. It mainly reflects in Costume by dress and personal adornment institution to show the
8、 difference of display hierarchy, young and old, intimacy,to create the content space of relationship.Traditional Chinese culture focuses on interdependence and the unity of opposites between creature and human being, na
9、ture and existence of all thing, it emphasizes spatial awareness and the “Harmony of Human with Nature “. Therefore, traditional costume advocates natural and simple, rational but facile, pursues of the “invisible form “
10、 and artistic conception of Metaphysics.It has conveyed the Chinese Style Philosophy of implicit and simple realm of life virtuallyThe Application of Traditional Silhouette and Style. The different natural environment an
11、d economic background of Eastern and Western civilizations creating the different ideology, aesthetic philosophy and universal consciousness.The difference is also reflected in the three-dimensional shape of traditional
12、utensils and the clothing styles. Traditional Chinese utensils including pottery, porcelain, bronzes, etc, some of the utensils are concise and simple, some of them are tender and round. But if we research on their outli
13、ne form, we will find most of the traditional Chinese utensils take curve and circle shape as the main element but not straight line or square, which is consistent with the aesthetic philosophy, such as “The Harmony betw
14、een Human Being and Nature”and “The Harmony between Yin and Yang”, at the same time, the using of circle and curve also reflects the humanistic spirit of auspice seeking and equalization.Traditional aesthetic philosophy
15、focuses on the creation of artistic conception. Such ideology prompt to formed the distinct culture of loose-fitting costume which is different from the body size costume of West. The structure of traditional Chinese cos
16、tume is Two-dimensional, loose-fitting, less supporting points, no darts, the inner space of it changes with human motion, and it emphasizes the beauty of trends and harmony between human and space. On the contrary, the
17、Western costume is Three-dimensional, close-fitting, using darts, focus on the performance of the human body, and it emphasizes the static beauty.At present more and more domestic designers try to integrate “Chinese elem
