3、aphical world, they are also three basic data elements of Geographic Information System (referred to as GIS) data. Traditional geographic information system only describes the geographical space object statically and abs

4、tracts it with space dimension and attribute dimension. It implies the dynamic change of the data, which is the timing, so it can not well handle the timing of spatial information. With the rapid growth of the amount of

5、geographic information data, especially the widespread use of the time dimension, people begin to make a depth study in temporal geographic information system (TGIS). TGIS can completely save development history of a geo

6、graphical event, so that the reconstruction of historical status, the tracking of temporal and spatial change and forecasting future development trend are possible. Firstly, the paper introduces the research background,

7、 research significance, research status, future development trend, the main research content and technical route. Then, it combines with the view of time and space in GIS, leads to the concept of spatio-temporal data mod

8、el, discusses basic ideas and their advantages and disadvantages of several of the common existing spatio-temporal data models, and analyzes the relationship of spatio-temporal data of crustal deformation, on this basis,

9、 build object-oriented data model of crustal deformation information, respectively, make analysis from conceptual design, logical design and physical design aspects. And the time dimension are stored on object attribute

10、information, it can express spatial and temporal change of data intuitively. Finally, the paper combines with SQL query language, access to the database using VB language, and use ArcGIS Engine components to achieve visu
