1、This research mainly addressed the design and development of one platform to support the mobile Teaming. In recent years, mobile learning has developed rapidly for the great achievement of global mobile communications an

2、d mobile computing technology, they provide essential prerequisite for the mobile learning developing. At the same time, with the growing needs of learning in the new knowledge century, the existing education systems, pl

3、atforms and modes are not efficient enough to the people for their demands of learning. So it is necessary for us to research the more advanced and more flexible learning theories, modes, systems and platforms. All of th

4、ose become the strong driving force of mobile learning. As a result, mobile learning comes into being. Mobile learning is a kind of learning that learners can study anytime and anyplace with the mobile terminal instr

5、uments. The mobile terminal instruments must present the information which learners' requests efficiently, and must provide the interactive communications among instructors and learners. (The mobile terminals include var

6、ious smart cell telephones, PDA, and laptops with wireless function). Mobile learning is one of the engineering which is huge and complex. The development of mobile communications and computing technology is the indi

7、spensable foundation and guarantee for the implementation of mobile learning by which can design and implement the mobile learning systems and platforms. However, the mobile learning system is neither to achieve all the

8、functions of the traditional distance learning systems and platforms, nor the repetitions of the existing learning systems. With the guidance of the theories of mobile learning and the basis of studying the technology of

9、 mobile development, we should fully consider the identity of mobile equipment and design a Teaming system and platform which possesses the mobile learning characteristics. The paper analyzes and summarizes the resea

10、rch situation based on a large number of domestic and international references. To describe existing theories and provide one new theory of mobile learning and the fundamental theories of mobile learning are explained in

11、 the paper. The mobile learning and its systems and platforms are studied based on the research results of the existing distance teaming systems and platforms, and one typical framework of mobile learning platform wa

12、s introduced In this mobile learning platform, we designed eight feasible functions including course learning, teaching management, education information collecting, mobile educational training, outdoor tasks supporting,

13、 Q&A, mobile educational Blogs and mobile educational games. And we used the mobile development technology Windows Mobile, to implement some main functions of this mobile learning platform based on the Pocket PC emulator
