8、enes. Jane Austen wrote only six complete novels. In these novels, an assembly of characters, men and women, old and young some, but not many, Austen criticized comically “the overvaluation of love, the miseducation of

14、 and Nobility. One of the most significant of these was the tendency to marry for money. A person sought a partner based on the dowry receivable and their allowance. This process went both ways: a beautiful woman might b
