3、tions have gotten through, playing an immeasurable role for the rise of Europe as a whole and the whole development of the history of the world. The United Kingdom, in the late middle Ages which endured two hundred yea

4、rs, for the sake of the national traditions and the foreign stimulus, gradually grasped a number of necessary conditions for the nation-state, which laid a solid foundation later for the Tudor period when England beca

5、me a true sense of the nation-state at last. In this paper, my research to the reasons of British nation-state formation in the late Middle Ages are mainly rooted in three aspects: the political, economic and national

6、consciousness, and finally summed up the above three aspects with the fourth chapter, the first part of the article is “the economy reason for the formation of the British nation-state, focusing on the Britain's Nati

7、onal Pan-national rule-based stratification, the British national economic policy changes, the unifying of United Kingdom taxation system, the formation of the United Kingdom domestic market, which are all caused by the

8、economic problems in the late Middle Ages. The second part of article is written in a political point of view, focusing on the development of the British Parliament in the late Middle Ages, local administrative system an

9、d an equitable legal system. The third part of the national consciousness mainly discuss of the development of English and English-style artistic style, the evolution of the national consciousness in the struggle with th

10、e Roman Catholic Church. The final part is a conclusion, and stressed the role of the Hundred Years War in forging the British nation-state. Britain in Tudor times become the first European nation-state eventually, to

11、a large extent for the fact that he first grasp the various elements of the nation-state in the Middle Ages, so firstly completing the transformation of the nation-state, and also because it previously reach the conver

12、sion, its economic, politics and culture at all levels surpassed the European continent in the same period. In this paper, “the Research to causes of the British nation-state in the Middle Ages (1300-1500)“, I try to a

13、nalyze all the elements in the formation of “British nation-state“ in the late Middle Ages to make a more comprehensive discussion of the theme， revealing the link among British traditional culture, external relations an
