4、entfrom 2006 to 2010 point out that develop EPI in a big way，raise capital from multipleways.Chongqing became a municipality in 1997, and one of the four major missionswhich the central government gave is to enforce the

5、protection and the construction ofenvironment. The EPI is the important basic point of the protection of environment, andit is one of the most potential new points of the economic development. Thedevelopment of the indus

6、try of environment has the important signification for theachievement of the target of Chongqing social and economic development, and for thecontinual development.In the article, we first definite the EPI, and use the re

7、sult of the economic census in2004 and other information to analyze the current situation of Chongqing EPI. Thearticle from industrial structure, ownership structure and production and business circsto analyze the curren
