3、opment has brought severe challenges to theconsolidating and upgrading of the “Two Bases“ the in education in the rural area. Hence, the“Educational Revitalization Action Plan -2003- 2007“-issued by the Ministry of Educa

4、tion in February2004, calls upon to strengthen the implementation of the “Two- Bases“ in the western rural area byleveraging the implementation of “Construction Project of Boarding Schools in Rural Area“. Theconstruction

5、 of boarding schools in rural area has ever since become the key measures and significantguarantee for the implementation of “Two- Bases“ nationalwide.Based on this background, the study was executed in the forms of site

6、 investigation and questionnaires inseven rural boarding schools, namely Shangsi, Ningning, Rong'an, Bobai, Beiliu, Liujiang and Rongshuiscattered in North, Middle and South of Guangxi, wedged in by the status quo, u

7、sing the interviewsyllabuses self- designed for the “Education Departments in Charge“, “Leaders of the Boarding Schools“,questionnaires of “Sustained Development of Boarding Schools in Rural Areas (subtitled for GeneralC

8、ondtion of the Schools, Teachers, Students and Parents). Based on the data collected and facilitated bySPSS quantified analysis, from the macroscopical and microcosmic views, the thesis analyses the internaland external

9、environments of the boarding schools in rural areas, discussing the targets, principles and themodels for the boarding schools in the rural areas, presenting the strategies appliable for the boardingschools in Guangxi ru

10、ral areas, hoping the provide the realistic guidances for the healthy development ofthe basic education in Guangxi rural areas.The thesis has three parts:Part One gives a general description of the boarding schools in Gu

11、angxi rural areas, discussing the thesignificance of the sustained development theory against the the boarding schools in rural areas.Part Two deals with the analysis based on actual situation of the boarding schools in

12、Guangxi rural areas,using the self- designed interview syllabuses and the the questionnaires from the in seven rural boardingschools, based on the quantified data analysis, from the macroscopical and microcosmic views, t

13、he thesisanalyses the internal and external environments of the boarding schools in rural areas, discussing the targets,principles and the models for the boarding schools in the rural areas.Part Three, based on the study
