4、nt and progress of economy and society, the pace of urbanization in China has been accelerating, and the labor flow between urban and rural areas has shown a large quantity and fast speed. Not only to promote the develop

5、ment of urban economy, to some extent also increased the income level of rural residents. At the same time, China's economic development is still at a low level, especially in some poor rural areas, farmers income si

6、tuation is poor, rural elderly pension problems began to show. In rural areas, the family pension as a traditional way of old age still occupies an important position. However, the impact of family planning policy, famil

7、y and demographic changes, the function of the family pension has been weakened, the old age of the elderly are challenged. On this basis, the community pension as a flexible pension way for the rural old age provides a

8、new way of thinking. It is of great theoretical and practical significance for the rural elderly in poverty-stricken areas to be disadvantaged in society and how to safeguard their interests in the reform of social secur

9、ity and old-age security system. Taking Pinglu County of Shanxi Province as an example, this paper analyzes the current situation of economic development and community pension in rural areas of poverty-stricken counties

10、according to the statistical data and government documents of the relevant departments through questionnaire survey. In the context of weakening the traditional family pension function in rural areas, it is trapped in sp

11、ecial regional characteristics and economic development. Rural community pension has not been able to achieve long-term development and the supply and demand of old-age services is not balanced. At the same time, the low
