Since the end of 1980s, the female literature enters her b

2、est period and reaches the third climax in the history in 1990s. Although Love and sex is only one theme of the female literature, it reveals further humanity and its nature, sociality and aesthetics. Its cultural and ae

3、sthetic value can not be replaced by other themes. This thesis is divided into 4 parts: The First Chapter recalls the main authors and writings of different period in Chinese female literature on love and sex novel since

4、 the period of “4th May” and introduces some viewpoints in Japanese female literature in the same period for comparison. The Second Chapter interprets the “man” and “woman” figures in the female writings of love and sex

5、 and points out that female literature has completely destructed and reorganized the system of male society in the new époque . The Third Chapter begins with such hot topics as unnatural sex, homosexual, adultery, u

6、ltra-marriage love, unethical love, etc and from the viewpoints in comparison with Japanese female literature, we analyze some characteristics, qualities and defects in Love and sex novel written by woman authors. The Fo

7、urth Chapter: From descriptive viewpoints and the contrast of reality and imagination, beauty and ugliness, we discuss artistic features and aesthetic values in love and sex novel written by woman authors. The awakening

8、life consciousness of woman urges some woman authors to consider their role of sex, and to bravely write about the past “taboo”. They describe frankly the secret of life experiences and natural desire of women. The perso
