2、sthatifsecondlanguageweretaughttestedinawaythattookintoaccountanalyticalcreativepracticalaswellasmemyabilitiesmestudentswouldlearnsecondlanguagestoahigherlevel.Thetalkwillbedividedinto3parts.FirstIwilldescribethetheyofsu
3、ccessfulintelligenceingeneralwhyitprovidesabetteraccountofabilitiesingeneralsecondlanguagelearningabilitiesinparticularthandoconventionaltheiesofintelligence.SecondIwilldescribehowingeneralthetheycanbeappliedtosecondlang
4、uagelearningtesting.Iwilldiscussteachingtestinginanalyticalcreativepracticalwaysgiveexamplesinthecontextofsecondlanguage.ThirdIwilldescribedataclassroomtestingthetheyinavarietyofgeneralizedcontexts.(ElenaGrigenkoswkshopw

13、gthetestholdsthatoneofthecentralabilitiesrequiredfsecondlanguagelearningistheabilitytocopewithnoveltyambiguitythisabilityisapartoftheexperientialaspectofintelligenceasdescribedbySternbergstriarchictheyofhumanintelligence
