1、該文通過(guò)回顧翻譯界在"可譯性和不可譯性"這一問(wèn)題上的爭(zhēng)論,旨在澄清人們對(duì)這一問(wèn)題的模糊認(rèn)識(shí).作者認(rèn)為,對(duì)"可譯性和不可譯性"爭(zhēng)論的根本原因是人們對(duì)"可譯性"這一概念理解混亂.因?yàn)榉g即翻譯語(yǔ)言符號(hào)的意義,在翻譯的過(guò)程中,因?yàn)槲幕驼Z(yǔ)言本身結(jié)構(gòu)的不同導(dǎo)致了語(yǔ)言符號(hào)的各種意義很難在另一語(yǔ)言中得到完全的對(duì)應(yīng),進(jìn)而造成翻譯的困難,這即是可譯性的局限性.承認(rèn)翻譯具有局限性并不意味著譯者可以無(wú)所作為,相反譯者應(yīng)把翻譯置于文化的背景下,分析語(yǔ)言在特殊
