10、bleI(withtheexceptionof2008)salarieshaverisencontinuouslyfspectroscopistsbyafewthousdollarseachyear.Thelargestincreasereptedwasin2006whentheaveragesalaryrosebynearly$5000.Whenevaluatingthedatacommonreasonschosenfincrease
11、dstresslevelwerebusinessuncertaintystaffmanagementuncertaintynegativewkplaceattitudes.Thosewhoreptedadecreaseinstresslevelcitedimprovedwkplaceattitudesincreasedstaffingcontinuingeducationasthereasons.Despitetheincreasedw
12、kloadsstresslevels38%ofrespondentsreptedfeelingsatisfiedwiththeircurrentposition33%feltverysatisfied14%werenotsatisfied12%feltextremelysatisfiedonly3%werenotatallsatisfied.Althoughthisisgoodnewsfemployerscomparedtolastye
13、arthesatisfactionlevelshavedecreaseddissatisfactionhasincreasedwhichisnottoosurprisingwhenlookingattheentirepicture.Inaccdancewithpeoplefeelingsatisfiedintheircurrentpositions39%ofrespondentsreptedfeelingsatisfiedwiththe
14、ircurrentemployer28%reptedfeelingverysatisfied17%reptedfeelingnotsatisfied12%reptedfeelingextremelysatisfied4%reptedfeelingnotatallsatisfied.Regardlessofindividuallevelsofsatisfactionnotmanypeoplearetookeenongettingoutth

16、ementincomejobenvironmentintellectualchallenge.Professionaladvancementisanitemonthetopofmostpeoplestodolistsknowingyournextstepisakeyaspectofmovingup.Howeveritsnotalwaysasclearcutasitmayseemespeciallyifpeoplearelookingto
17、crossoverintoanewaspectoftheirjobanewfieldentirely.Ourrespondentsofferedusamixtureofanswersontheirprofessionalgoalswith41%reptingthattheydontknowarenotsureoftheirnextcareerstep20%saidlabdirectmanager20%saidretirement6%sa
