2、emonthsyearly.Itbeginsonthe15thofthe4thLunarMonthendsonthe15thofthe7thLunarMonth.SoitisveryinconvenientftheSanghatoseekalmsduringthisseason.”所以規(guī)定在這三個月內(nèi)，大家安定下來，勇猛精進修行。Itwasthendecidedthatallmonksmustcultivatediligentlydur

3、ingthesethreemonthswhilestayingindos.三個月修行的結(jié)果，得道的圣眾特別多，所以十方諸佛，皆大歡喜。AftercultivatingfthreemonthsmanyofthesagelyassemblyattainTheWay.ThustheBuddhasinthetendirectionsrejoiceovertheirattainment.又在這一天，許多僧人圣眾，聚集起來，把這三個月學(xué)習(xí)期滿的心得

4、，功過得失，都坦白發(fā)表意見，所以叫做：[僧自恣日]—alsoonthatdaythesagelyassemblycometogethertodiscusstheirindividualprogress.Allmeritsdemeritsaretobeannouncedtothemultitude.Soitisalsoknownasthe“SanghaPravaranaDay.”同時目犍連的母親因造下許多深重慳貪的罪業(yè)并非目犍連一個人的力

5、量可以救度他的母親亦非一切天神地祗所能為力須仰賴十方得道省僧之共同力量才能夠解救目犍連尊者的母親!–AtthesametimeTheVenerableMaugalyayana’smotherwassufferingintheHungryGhostRealm.Shehadcommittedheavykarmicoffencesfbeingstingygreedy.Shecouldnotbesavedbythespiritualstreng

6、thofhersonaloneneithercouldshebesavedbyalltheearthheavenlyspirits.ShecouldonlybesavedwiththecombinedstrengthofthesagelySanghainthetendirectionswhohadattainedtheWay.因此佛陀教目犍連在七月十五日就是[佛歡喜日]那天廣施[盂蘭盆供]是為現(xiàn)世及過去世的父母祈福滅罪叫做[父母孝親日]
