3、otal of 138 patients were recruited in this trial and randomly divided into two groups through RCT: paroxetine hydrochloride group (control group) and scalp electric acupuncture with moxibustion

4、 group (treatment group). Each group was treated for 12 weeks. Patients were scored relatively before the treatment, six weeks after the treatment, and twelve weeks after the treatment, using Clinician- a

5、dministered Scale for DSM- IV (CAPS), Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD), and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA). Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale (TESS) is used to analyze the sid

6、e effects of the drug every week in the first four weeks and every two weeks in the rest weeks. Results:The research was finished well, with a balanced grouping, a stable baseline, and a si

7、gnificant comparability. After the analysis of integrations of CAPS, HAMD, and HAMA, we found that the score differences before and after the treatment were of statistical significance in all fo

8、ur groups (P0.05). After the analysis of the reductive ratio of CAPS, HAMD, and HAMA, we found that the score differences before and after the treatment were of statistical significance in al
