4、 dance. With the development of rhythm movement teaching, people start torealize that the experiment and learning of body movement has to be carried outbefore the dance learning, thereby enhancing the body's rhythmic

5、ity and coordinationand building up the basis of dance learning and the cultivation of artistic sensibilityand expression.In order to study the relationship between the teaching of rhythm and elementaryeducation of dance

6、, this paper first discusses the connotation of rhythm and itsrelation with the art of dancing, analyzing the relationship between the rhythmteaching and modern dance by reviewing the development history. Then, combining

7、with practical examples, the paper elaborates three types of elementary educationdevelopment in China and foreign countries: the traditional elementary education ofdance starting with basic skills and limb development, t

8、he modern elementaryeducation of dance focusing rhythm and taking students into the dancing word byrhythm, and improved elementary education of dance comparing to the traditional one.The third chapter demonstrates the va
