3、d some able men to ask for political parties.At the same time, other governors stated their own opinions on how to solve thesedisasters and how to advocate government policies. As the calamity gradually reliedon the Pent

4、ateuch after a long time promotion and summary, we could get someuseful information which brought about a great change in the political situation. Thispaper intends to study the idea of calamity raised by He Xiu and pay

5、lots of attentionson the lineage of Dong Zhongshu and He Xiu to tell people what is the main idea of“Gong Yang” calamity and how this idea is innovated. Meanwhile in—depth analyzesthe background and reasons of He Xiu’s c

6、alamity thoughts and combined withpolitical practices of Han Dynasty to illuminate the classic purpose of ChineseConfucianism. This paper can be divided into five chapters.The first chapter analyzes the current situation

7、 and development of He Xiu’sGongyang doctrine and emphasizes the inheritance of Dong Zhongshu’s and He Xiu’sGong Yang thoughts. The author also clarifies how to interpret the classic thoughtslogically and how to pay clos

8、e attention to the reality.The second chapter explores the connotation of “Spring and Autumn”Catastrophist theory ,studies the retrospective academic history and highlights theoutstanding position of Dong Zhongshu in the
