4、amples.With the cultural turn in translation studies in 1970s, the focus of translationstudy was gradually changed from the formal equivalence between the source text andtarget text to the factors that influence the the

5、process of translation and to how thosefactors manipulate that process. As far as Andre Lefevere’ s concerned, translation isnot to realize the meaning equivalence between the source text and target text, but torealize t

6、he compromise between the source cultural system and the target culturalsystem and the latter one plays the dominant role in the process of translation. In otherwords, when the literary works from foreign culture are tra

7、nslated and introduced intothe target culture, this process will be manipulated by some factors in the targetculture, including the manipulation of the poetics from the inner literary system and ofthe ideology and patron
