2、ally proven and treated between 1956 and 2003 in West China Hospital of Stomatology were retrospectively analyzed. The patient's records were reviewed for gender, occupation, clinical features, clinical diagnosis, site a

3、nd size of the lesion, TMN classification, methods of diagnosis, pathological report, treatment modalities, recurrence, management after recurrence, follow up and survival rate.The study was divided in two parts. Part

4、Ⅰ is a group of all sarcoma of the oral and maxillofacial region and part Ⅱ included a group of osteosarcoma cases. All cases were histopathologically confirmed. Part one included all types of sarcoma found in this study

5、 which were also proved by hisotophatological examination.Part two included all cases which were proved histoophatologically as osteosarcoma. As a result the study classified 100 patients as suffering from soft tissue sa

6、rcoma and 39 patients suffering from osteosarcoma. The male to female ratio was 1.6:1. The age range was from 2 months up to 77 years, mean age was 28.5 years. The most commonly affected age group was 20-29 years. The m

7、ajority of the study population presented clinical feature of mass without pain (n=97). The mandible to maxilla ratio was 1:1. According to this study, the main management used was radical surgery. Conclusion: Male pati
