2、of being understood better by others. On the basis of the available material and current academic fruit, this paper is emphasized on the research and analysis of Lin Yu-tang’s culture export works. By reviewing Lin Yu-ta

3、ng’s works of culture export, the history revivification of his works is attained, and then, contents and styles of the works, as well as the particularity and election strategy, are analyzed. Finally, purpose of his wor

4、ks is clearly stated. It is this purposes that helps him to overcoming the restrictions of Orientalism and the concept of post-colonial cultural, and also provides significance for the Chinese culture, especially for tra

5、ditional Chinese culture with the modern sense participating in the Cultural Context of Globalization. This paper contains three parts. The foreword is mainly concerned with changes of Lin Yu-tang’s attitude to the East

6、and the West culture in different periods, as well as the causes of these changes. In the first chapter, by Studying and analyzing in a Macro Level of Lin Yu-tang’s works, contents and styles of culture export works are

7、detailed described. Translation of the ancient Chinese classics books, creation of English essay and novels, and English Speech are the main styles of Lin Yu-tang’s culture export works. Companied with these styles, Chin

8、ese culture is preached directly or indirectly. The second chapter stresses on the purpose of Lin Yu--tang’s culture export works. Application is the Premise of culture export. Instead of exporting Chinese culture mecha

9、nically, Lin Yu-tang, with his confidence of Chinese culture, criticized and reconstructed the traditional Chinese culture from vision of modern science, and tried to build an east-west Cultural integration. Thus, tradit

10、ional Chinese culture were selected, reorganized and then outputted. Lin’s construction of world culture is composed by two parts, “comparison” and “complementarity” of Chinese and Western cultures. The third chapter is
