2、d that implicitlearning doesn't require selective attention. Subjects could both implicitly learnedattended materials and unattended materials. However, the others have come to theopposite conclusion: implicit learni
3、ng needs selective attention. Only attendedmaterials could be implicitly learned, but not unattended materials. Obviously, therelationship between selective attention and implicit learning remains unresolved andneeds fur
4、ther study. In the past, there were various materials used in implicit learning.In view that visual implicit learning(VIL) has material sensitivity. What's more, mostof the previous researches just investigated VIL,
5、but few focused on auditory implicitlearning(AIL). It's also unknown that whether AIL has material sensitivity. Therefore,it is necessary to further explore the effect of selective attention on AIL with differentmate
6、rials to provide evidence for the processing mechanism of implicit learning.There were 191 college students took part into two experiments. ArtificialGrammar Learning task was used. The results showed: (1) When material
7、types oftwo ears were the same, the main effect of selective attention was significant, themain effect of the material types was not significant, there was no significantinteraction effect. (2) When material types of two
8、 ears were different, the main effectof attended material types was not significant, the main effect of test material typeswas significant, interaction effect was significant.Conclusion: (1) When material types of two ea
9、rs were the same, selectiveattention has effect on AIL, but there is no effect of material types on AIL. (2) Whenmaterial types of two ears were different, material types and selective attention bothhave influence on AIL
