2、teristics, longitudinal stability and control. Firstly, the influence of aircraft icing on flight safety is summarized; the investigations of aircraft icing features are reviewed.; and the models of icing accretion and t
3、he influences of icing accretion on the aircraft aerodynamic characteristics, longitudinal stability and control are analyzed. Secondly, based on the analysis and processing of the data from wind tunnel test, the increme
4、nts of airfoil aerodynamic forces and moment due to icing accretion are fitted, via the principle of least square method, into the polynomials, obtaining the variation relations of lift coefficient, drag coefficient and
5、pitching moment coefficient with angle of attack. Through the formulas which have been tested, taking the typical civil aircraft as a calculation example, the increments of the longitudinal aerodynamic coefficients due t
6、o the icing accretion are calculated with three different icing models: icing on the wing; icing on the horizontal tail; and icing on both wing and tail. The bulk of this thesis deal with the modeling and calculation of
7、the flight dynamics based on a well-established and then enhanced analysis platform. The calculated results regarding the longitudinal stability and control of icing aircraft are compared with those of the 6-DOF simulati
8、on. Finally, based on the detailed analysis and comparison of the calculation results of different icing models, corresponding solutions are put forward. The research results demonstrate that icing affects greatly the ai
9、rcraft longitudinal stability and control. As a result, it may finally do harm to the flight safety, and different icing models and positions have different effects on the aircraft flight. The results presented in the di
