1、自20世紀90年代初，隨著經(jīng)濟的全球化，軟件本地化產(chǎn)業(yè)在國外應運而生，此后不久即隨一些國際領先的軟件廠商進入中國。由于當前大約80％的軟件產(chǎn)品是在美國開發(fā)的英文產(chǎn)品，所以本地化絕大部分是基于英文產(chǎn)品，通過本地化的技術(shù)編譯生成其他語言版本產(chǎn)品。Liyod international translations面向20個來自各個行業(yè)的大中型客戶做了一項關(guān)于術(shù)語管理的調(diào)查，發(fā)現(xiàn)對于絕大部分客戶來講認為其軟件產(chǎn)品最大的問題還是在于術(shù)語不統(tǒng)一。針對
