1、該文是一項關于輸出型學習任務對詞匯學習作用的實證研究.輸出假設(Swain,1985)認為語言產出能促使二語學習者認識到自身中介語的問題,從而引發(fā)對輸入中相關語言形式的注意,促進語言習得.然而,最近詞匯學習領域提出的任務驅動認知投入假設卻認為,能否記住一個生詞由學習任務帶給它的認知投入量決定,與學習任務是輸出型的還是輸入型的無關.但此觀點尚無實證研究證明.六十名成都信息工程學院英語專業(yè)一年級新生被分為四級參與了該實驗,在相同時間內分別完
2、成一種學習任務.實驗采用的兩種輸入任務為:繼續(xù)再讀一篇相關主題的文章和猜測五個目標詞的詞意;兩種輸出任務為:寫出所讀文章的主要意思,或將所給中文概要譯成英文.任務完成后對五個目標詞進行測試,考察受試對目標詞詞匯知識的習得程度.數據分析顯示,輸出組對詞匯知識,尤其是接受性詞匯知識的習得沒有顯著優(yōu)勢.但輸出組對產出性詞匯知識的學習有明顯的促進作用.該文認為這是由于接受性詞匯知識和產出性詞匯知識的不同特性造成的.語言理解和語言產出過程中不同的
