3、ge policymakers’ and researchers’ attention that how employ a counselor posts the required competency, how assess a counselor’s performance. Currently , college counselor also pay more and more attention to self assessme

4、nt and their career management etc. This study starts with some former work about college counselor competency model, and collects some lexical items. Then obtaining more lexical items through interview with experts. The

5、se items will be converted to act for information description, then formed the college counselor self-evaluation questionnaire for college counselor competency. And this study gradually builds a college counselor compete

6、ncy empirical model by questionnairing and using exploratory factor analysis. This college counselor competency empirical model is a multi-dimensional system structure, including six dimensions: service consciousness and

7、 quality, speech communication and coordination features, professional knowledge and skills, self-control, problem-solving ability and personality futures, and 40 items in total. The self-evaluation questionnaire has goo

8、d reliability and validity through analysis, and can be applied to practice after modify slightly for college counselor to evaluate themselves. According to the system structure model, we can get the index system. By usi
