1、隨著我國高校辦學規(guī)模的不斷擴大,英語教師嚴重短缺,大批非師范教育背景的本科生畢業(yè)后走上了大學英語教學的講臺。大學英語教師這個群體的專業(yè)成長,成了當前高校英語教師發(fā)展的首要任務。教師的專業(yè)素質不是生來俱有的,是教師在專業(yè)發(fā)展的過程中逐漸獲得并提高的。優(yōu)秀大學英語青年教師作為教師群體中的突出代表,其專業(yè)發(fā)展過程有著可供借鑒之處。
本研究以浙江省某高校的四位大學英語優(yōu)秀青年教師為研究參與者,采用質的研究中的教育敘事探究,通過半開
2、放性訪談和課堂觀察等方法對這些優(yōu)秀教師專業(yè)發(fā)展的歷程、促進和阻礙其發(fā)展的因素做了探究。
本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)這些教師們在成長的過程中都經歷了以下三個發(fā)展階段:關注自我→關注教學情境→關注學生。這些教師有著如下的優(yōu)秀素質:對教學和學生的熱愛;對外語學科教學能力的理解和追求;寬廣的外語教學觀;對教學實踐的深刻反思;他們這些優(yōu)秀的素質也正是促進他們專業(yè)發(fā)展的內因。同時,一些外部因素如教學環(huán)境的變化、同事間的共同探討、英語教學大賽的觀摩課和
