1、隨著我國高等教育的持續(xù)大幅擴(kuò)招,高校新入職教師人數(shù)迅速增加,而他們也正處于教師專業(yè)發(fā)展的關(guān)鍵起點(diǎn)階段。鑒于任何改進(jìn)英語課堂教學(xué)和教師專業(yè)發(fā)展的努力必須首先尋求對于教師自身建構(gòu)的課堂教學(xué)觀的發(fā)現(xiàn)和理解,對新入職教師的課堂教學(xué)進(jìn)行探究,了解他們對課堂教學(xué)的建構(gòu)是改進(jìn)其教學(xué)的先決條件。
本研究以武漢大學(xué)珞珈學(xué)院英語系的幾位新入職年輕教師為調(diào)查對象,旨在確認(rèn)支撐他們課堂教學(xué)的教學(xué)原則和意圖,及它們是怎樣融入到教師的教學(xué)中,并且分析
2、其教學(xué)中的相似和不同之處,從而討論提高新入職教師教學(xué)的途徑。
此項(xiàng)研究設(shè)計(jì)采用了多個(gè)案法,是一項(xiàng)定性研究。三位來自武漢大學(xué)珞珈學(xué)院的教師在教齡(最多3年),年齡和教育背景上都不盡相同。研究數(shù)據(jù)的搜集來自課堂教學(xué)觀察和訪談。課堂觀察過程中,研究者做了詳細(xì)的“日記式”觀察記錄,以此在后續(xù)的半結(jié)構(gòu)化訪談中,作為三位教師描述并解釋課堂教學(xué)的提示。研究結(jié)果呈現(xiàn)出了新入職教師課堂教學(xué)的以下特點(diǎn):課堂主要采用說教,以教師為中心,有明確的
3、重點(diǎn)以及傾注了積極的感情成分。數(shù)據(jù)分析顯示每一位新入職教師的課堂行為的基本原理可由他們各自的教學(xué)原則和意圖組成的構(gòu)架來解釋。通過案例間的比較分析,研究發(fā)現(xiàn)每一位教師在課堂教學(xué)中都持有一個(gè)首要目標(biāo),這個(gè)目標(biāo)被研究者標(biāo)識(shí)為指導(dǎo)原則。為了達(dá)到這個(gè)目標(biāo),每個(gè)人有一些被標(biāo)識(shí)為中心原則的重要的觀念來指導(dǎo)教學(xué),還有一系列教學(xué)意圖來解釋他們具體的課堂行為。研究還發(fā)現(xiàn),盡管他們的教學(xué)原則和意圖建立在已持的教學(xué)信念和對教學(xué)環(huán)境的認(rèn)知上,但是教學(xué)意圖和現(xiàn)實(shí)的
