3、munication successlly in Chinese by learning in classroom,but they often encounter communication barriers in daily life.One of the reasons is that they couldn’t grasp the habitual expression in Chinese,to a great extent,
4、they couldn’t understand DMs.The reseach abroad is mainly about the language of English and the reseach subjects are mainly native English speakers or the Chinese learners of Enlish as a second language.In this paper,I
5、collected and analyzed the DMs from different spoken materials,and conduct the reseach which take the learners of different nationalities at middle and senior stages as reseach objects,make a systematic category of the C
6、hinese DMs.Lastly,integrated the situation of students use DMs.I want to receive some propose about teaching strategies. This reseach consists of the following parts:the first part reviews the characteristics and the cur
7、rent research;the second part describs the characteristic on the base of the prccedent reseach ;the third part focus on the using of DMs,the objective acquisition order characteristics and the met cognition relevant elem
8、ents as well;the fourth part gives suggestion on the class teaching of DMs;the last part is the summy,which points out the insufficiency and the direction of further research. Key words:Discourse Markers;Teaching Chinese
