1、作為語(yǔ)篇分析的一個(gè)分支,源自文學(xué)領(lǐng)域的體裁分析已逐漸轉(zhuǎn)向語(yǔ)言學(xué)領(lǐng)域,并試圖超越表面上單純的語(yǔ)言特征描述,從深層解釋語(yǔ)篇的構(gòu)建策略及其背后的社會(huì)文化因素和心理認(rèn)知因素。在體裁分析理論的不斷發(fā)展中逐漸形成了新修辭學(xué)派、澳大利亞學(xué)派以及特殊用途英語(yǔ)學(xué)派。特殊用途英語(yǔ)學(xué)派對(duì)體裁分析的研究在語(yǔ)言學(xué)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)形成了較大影響并因此吸引了大批學(xué)者,而其豐富語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象也在不斷充實(shí)著體裁分析理論。體裁分析理論從語(yǔ)篇的交際目的和話語(yǔ)社區(qū)入手,通過(guò)研究某一類語(yǔ)篇結(jié)構(gòu)
2、規(guī)范,揭示該類語(yǔ)篇的構(gòu)建依據(jù),以期為使用者,尤其是非母語(yǔ)使用者提供規(guī)范性指導(dǎo)。也正是因?yàn)槿绱?,體裁分析理論被廣泛應(yīng)用于特殊用途英語(yǔ)的教學(xué)當(dāng)中。
本文收集了30篇英語(yǔ)國(guó)家商科專業(yè)的研究生入學(xué)申請(qǐng)個(gè)人陳述且申請(qǐng)者均為中國(guó)學(xué)生,運(yùn)用Bhatia的體裁分析七步論和推銷性體裁語(yǔ)步結(jié)構(gòu)及Hasan的體裁結(jié)構(gòu)潛勢(shì)對(duì)其進(jìn)行定性和定量分析,其中用到了AntConc語(yǔ)料庫(kù)軟件,以期推導(dǎo)出該類語(yǔ)篇的語(yǔ)步結(jié)構(gòu)和體裁結(jié)構(gòu)潛勢(shì)并簡(jiǎn)單總結(jié)其語(yǔ)言特征。研究結(jié)
3、果表明:個(gè)人陳述的體裁結(jié)構(gòu)首先沿襲了促銷性體裁結(jié)構(gòu)的4大語(yǔ)步,其次由于其特殊的學(xué)術(shù)性特點(diǎn)刪減了促銷型體裁結(jié)構(gòu)的3個(gè)語(yǔ)步并增加了特有的2個(gè)語(yǔ)步。其語(yǔ)步結(jié)構(gòu)為:解釋申請(qǐng)?jiān)蚝鸵鈭D(必選)、建立資質(zhì)(必選)、展現(xiàn)個(gè)人素質(zhì)(可選)、羅列學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃和職業(yè)目標(biāo)(可選)、請(qǐng)求回復(fù)(可選)、簽名(必選)。每個(gè)語(yǔ)步又包含1到3個(gè)步驟來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)各自的交際目的。各語(yǔ)步之間的順序也呈現(xiàn)出一定的特點(diǎn)。在語(yǔ)言層面上,詞匯使用頻率和意向也表現(xiàn)出一定的特點(diǎn)。
