4、teachers’students’perceptionsofCLTindertofindoutthedifficultiestheycomeacrossinEFLclassroom.Thisstudyaimedatinvestigatingstudents’teachers’perceptionsofcommunicativelanguageteaching(CLT)inJiangxiNmalUniversity.128student

5、s(sophome)15Englishteachersansweredthequestionnaires.Besides10students5teachersparticipatedintheinterviewtoprovidetheirdetailedviewsrelatedtothequestionnaires.Thestudyaimedto:1)explethestudents’perceptionsofthedifficulti

6、esindevelopingcommunicativecompetence2)investigatetheobstaclesfteachersinimplementingCLT3)managetofigureoutsomeimplicationstoovercometheobstacles.Theinstrumentsadoptedintheresearchwerethequestionnaireinterview.Thequestio

7、nnaires’dataweretypedintothecomputeranalyzedbySPSS19.0.Whattheintervieweessaidwereaudiotapedtranscribedtosupptthedataofthequestionnaire.Thestudyrevealedanumberoffindingsregardingtheteachersstudents’perceptionsofCLT.First

8、thestudentshadpositiveattitudestowardsCLTmostoftheparticipantsintheresearchenjoyedanintegrationofCLTtraditionalmethodsinteachingtargetlanguage.Theyagreedthatteacherswerenotauthitiesthatteachersstudentswereequalinclass.Se

9、condlyalthoughsometeachersremainedsomewhatconfusedaboutwhatexactlyCLTwasmostoftheteachersheldfaviteattitudestowardsCLTweregladtoganizecommunicativeactivitiesinclass.Theyalsoagreedthatthestudentsshouldbethecenterofknowled

10、getransmissionwhiletheteachersshouldtaketheroleasfacilitats.NextallthestudentsagreedthattheyhaddifficultieswhenteachersusedCLTtodeveloptheircommunicativecompetence.TeachersalsoclaimedtherewerechallengesinimplementingCLT.
