1、上世紀(jì)九十年代解構(gòu)主義被引介入中國的翻譯理論,其影響深遠。解構(gòu)主義中對傳統(tǒng)翻譯理論產(chǎn)生重大沖擊的一個概念就是意義的不確定性。本文從哲學(xué)的角度說明了意義為何而不確定。在二元對立的哲學(xué)觀下,兩極之間并不平等,其中一方占統(tǒng)治地位,是本源,而另一方則是處于派生地位。在這種哲學(xué)觀點下,意義處在本源的地位,是恒定不變的。解構(gòu)主義認(rèn)為沒有二元對立這種關(guān)系,意義不是恒定不變的存在體而是不確定的。意義不是作者或是說話人的意圖,也不是讀者或是聽者的臆測。意
2、義存在于語境之中,而語境卻沒有邊際。
傳統(tǒng)的翻譯建立在認(rèn)為意義是恒定值的基礎(chǔ)上;傳統(tǒng)翻譯理論認(rèn)為譯者的作用就是找到原文的意義并將它在譯文中忠實流暢地表達出來。意義的不確定性動搖了傳統(tǒng)譯論的基石。本文分析了在意義不確定的視角下傳統(tǒng)譯論的各種不足;進而系統(tǒng)介紹了解構(gòu)主義給中國譯論帶來的新契機,以及對之的思考。
